Through hundreds of prompts, GPT-4 discussed the potential advantages and drawbacks of AI, argued about human nature, conceived original sci fi plots, and even tried to make a few jokes. The book aims to serve as a sort of “travelog” of my experience with GPT-4 as I explored the tool’s strengths and limitations.

I co-wrote it with GPT-4, OpenAI’s latest and most powerful large language model. While we focus on the future of entertainment, he digs into the future of work, capitalism, identity, misinformation & more.I’ve just published a new book entitled “Impromptu: Amplifying Our Humanity Through AI.” But I didn’t write it alone. We’re honored to launch Possible with comedian, author and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah. (This marks, I believe, the first time that the new AI model has been used in a podcast.) Each episode will have companion stories, generated by OpenAI's GPT-4, to serve as a jumping off point for a hopeful, speculative discussion about what humanity could possibly get right if we leverage technology-and our collective effort-effectively. The conversation will also be fueled by predictions of another kind of guest: GPT-4. In each episode, my co-host Aria Finger and I talk with a visionary from a different field: climate science, media, criminal justice, education, and more.

Possible is my new podcast that sketches out the brightest version of the future-and what it will take to get there. I wrote Impromptu both to encourage people to not only get to know GPT-4, but to embrace our choice of how we’ll use it, and explore the different ways this choice might play out.Īrt credit: Aria Goldman of Wonder Media Network (WMN) Together, we wrote light bulb jokes, epic poems, original sci fi plots, arguments about human nature, musings on how AI might strengthen democracy, society and industries.Įarlier this year, I organized my explorations with GPT-4 into sections-creativity, education, public intellectualism, journalism and more-to create a kind of travelog through various topics. This, as far as I know, is the first book written with GPT-4. I wrote a new book, Impromptu: Amplifying our Humanity through AI, with OpenAI's latest, most powerful large language model.
